Creator of The Women’s Room and prominent feminist activist, Caroline shares the story of how she took on the Bank of England and the vitriol that she experience online afterwards. Examining the variety of spaces the internet can provide, Sali and Caroline talk about how positive it’s been for Women and feminism.
In conversation at Portobello Books, Sali and Caroline talk about Do it like a Women, a celebration of women’s rights activists around the world. Caroline was on the Queen’s 2015 Birthday honours list being awarded with an OBE for services to Equality and Diversity, particularly in the media. Her writing has also appeared in The Times, the Telegraph, the Guardian and the New Statesman. Craido-Perez won the 2013 Liberty Human Rights Campaigner of the Year Award and was named one of the Guardian’s People of the Year.
