Screen Social: Northern Soul Stew

On Wednesday 8th October we’re hosting another charity Screen Social in London – Northern Soul Stew.

With a nod to the release of British feature film Northern Soul, the music vs film night is back at The Book Club in London’s Shoreditch for a night of floor fillers, films and foolery. With live music from soul specialists J.E.T., DJs from the Northern Soul scene and cinematic treacle, all mixed up in a big bowl of soul.

If you’ve shot a music video, short film, animation or experiment which is soaked in soul, we’d love to hear from you.

It could be a music promo, documentary, fictional narrative, mod culture exploration, interview, or maybe you want to nominate your all-time favourite Northern Soul banger.

If you’d like to submit a film please fill out the form here.
Screening priority will be given to directors who can attend on the night.

Please spread the word – all proceeds go to the homelessness charity Shelter and for every registered £3 entry, we’ll donate an extra £1.
