The M&S Partnership: bringing education and business together. The University of Leeds asked Swhype to create an animated infographic film highlighting the unique partnership with Marks & Spencer.
The University of Leeds campus is the home of the M&S Company Archive, with 70,000 items in the collection, 38,000 visitors and with 370,000 online visits making this a unique and invaluable resource.
Research between the partnership ranges from the role of Generation Y has in the workforce to new ways of extracting antioxidants from the skin of grapes a vital ingredient in the M&S natural skincare range.
Developing employability is a major feature of the partnership, there are 30 business mentors nurturing talent, 114 placements offered and over 6000 students engaged. The joint online course offered by the University of Leeds and M&S, with the aid of M&S case studies has over 15,000 students from over 70 countries.
