The commercial team at Brides magazine approached Swhype to write a promotional video treatment for UK wedding gift list experts The Wedding Shop.
With an initial brief to focus on the people gifting the products, we considered what was important to couples receiving gifts for one of the most important days of their lives. The emotions which are attached to certain objects are attached to the people who gave them. To convey these key sentiments we added the element of integrated captions to give a context to the featured products, together with the expected long lifespan of those products.
The result was just what they were looking for – a promotional campaign which could be split into seasonal sections to be seeded out on social.
