Live Performances:

Next week Screen Social welcomes the brilliantly creative, talented and award-winning guys from Ithaca Audio for a special Music Vs Film Vs Tech edition.

Ithaca Audio is an established and successful creative audio studio composing and sound designing for many years, but it’s their innovative approach to the mashup that caught the attention of the masses, earning them over 1,000,000 views online. Their interactive videos sampling simultaneous cult soundtracks and visuals has since led to commercial work for the likes of Mercedes Benz and VW among others. We’ve loved their work for years so it’s extra special that they’ll be performing and chatting about  their exceptional work.

The press says…
“This is simply brilliant” – Lucy Jones, NME
“Spectacular mashup of 24 music videos”
– Will Goodman, CBS News

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be treated to a live set from Morgan Hislop (his other  job is as the drummer for Tropics) who’ll be bringing his unique broken-beat electronica to The Book Club.

There will also be the usual screenings of great shorts and music videos with a tech edge from independent directors who will be on hand for a beer and a chat.

All proceeds from this Screen Social go to the housing & homelessness charity Shelter. Register online and organisers Swhype will donate an extra £1.

This will be a night full of music, film, chat and drinks. Click the orange button to register for entry.
