We kicked off the evening with a few technical hitches (inevitably) and cooled down to enjoy some original indie film & video content from the likes of Ciara Barry (Philippa and Nancy<\/b>), George Shelbourn (Comet<\/b>) and Thom Munden (Run<\/b>), among others. Jules from\u00a0The Sound of Film<\/b>\u00a0provided some incidental soundtrack sweets before\u00a0Bullion Productions<\/b>\u00a0introduced their brilliant first selection of shorts and music videos – an eclectic mix of work from musicians as diverse as\u00a0Summer Camp<\/b>,\u00a0Beardyman<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Professor Green.<\/b>[\/text_output][image type=”none” float=”none” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” src=”8131″ alt=”screen-social-bullion”][text_output]Next we were treated to the phenomenal sound of\u00a0Franz Kirmann<\/b>\u00a0who, together with his drummer provided a crescendo of broken beats and soaring synth, captivating the audience with his synched visuals on our four screens. \"\"[\/text_output][text_output]Partizan<\/b>‘s Spanish directing geniuses\u00a0Canada<\/b>\u00a0then introduced surreal fast-cut promos and clever commercial spots to our late-night crowd until 10.30pm when Bullion returned for another collection of top music videos.<\/p>\n

11:59<\/b>\u00a0arrived for a bit of classic music video VS classic tune and we were sorted for the rest of the night.<\/p>\n

Friends were made, music was discovered and directors were praised… all in one space on one night.<\/p>\n
