\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Metronomy’s music videos have always got that something that makes them a memorable, visual-striking experience. ‘Night Owl’<\/em>\u00a0– taken from their newly released album, Summer 08′ –\u00a0<\/em>is further proof of this.<\/p>\n

Directed by French electro musician & filmmaker Quentin Depieux<\/a> <\/strong>(aka Mr. Oizo<\/strong>), the video follows\u00a0Joseph Mount<\/strong>‘s\u00a0<\/strong>death\u00a0<\/strong>ride\u00a0to an American dessert\u00a0<\/strong>along with his girlfriend – played by director and actress,\u00a0Zoe Cassavetes<\/a><\/strong>. Featuring a sliding brain and the Grim Reaper, ‘Night Owl’ is Mount’s surreal living nightmare as he gets killed multiple times by an array of\u00a0characters throughout the duration of the video.<\/p>\n

Quentin Depieux became known for his commercial work for Levi’s Sta-Prest campaigns starring Flat Eric<\/a>, a lovely yellow puppet (See video below). Since then, he has directed several feature films including\u00a0‘Rubber’ (2010)<\/em>,‘Wrong’ (2012)<\/em>,\u00a0‘Reality’<\/em>\u00a0(2014) and quirky music videos for his own music promos and other electro artists such as Alex Gopher<\/a> <\/strong>and\u00a0Sebastien Tellier<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
