\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Falling\u00a0<\/em>is another Screen Social<\/strong> favourite of the dance-themed genre. This indie experimental short, released in 2012, is a study of human interaction through the atmospheric capture of moving bodies, dance & sound.<\/p>\nDirected and edited by former-architect Adriano Cirulli<\/a><\/strong>, it mixes up digital VFX\u00a0(also by Cirulli) and choreography along with Antonino Chiaramonte<\/strong>\u2019s<\/em> evocative electroacoustic music.<\/p>\n
In the film, the dancers\u2019 floating bodies move either fast or slowly inside a dark space and they fall, dance and interact with each other as a reflection of real-life human communication. The shadow interplay of their muscled bodies creates a visually hypnotic and dreamlike enchantment.<\/p>\n
After filming the dancers on blue screen, the filmmaker & VFX artist used ‘motion tracking and stabilization to animate and augment their natural movements‘<\/em>.
