Screen Social returns to The Book Club<\/a><\/strong> to present BEAT<\/strong><\/em> – an evening of film, music and visual rhythm as we wax lyrical with guest artists and spoken word.<\/div>\n

Featuring the poetic works of Michelle Madsen<\/a>, founder and host of the London slam poetry night Hammer and Tongue<\/a>\u00a0– she’ll be taking to the stage and reading some of her personal works. Along with Michelle we’ve got rising talent and cat jacket collector Maddy Sakakini<\/a>\u00a0who’ll also be sharing her poetic performance works. There will also be a special slot from Poet, Writer, Composer, Performer – Shane Solanki<\/a> whose short film DUST will also be screening.<\/div>\n

At this Screen Social, we’ll also be opening up the stage and passing the mic to anyone who wants to read lines, rhymes and verses – Just sign yourself into a slot on a the door.<\/div>\n
