Contributing to a successful Screen Social: #HELLO<\/b><\/a>\u00a0in June, were the outstanding shorts,\u00a0<\/span>SLR<\/em>\u00a0directed by Stephen Fingleton<\/b><\/a> and its ‘companion’ film Selfie<\/em>\u00a0directed by Ben A Williams<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n SLR<\/em> follows ‘Elliot’ who\u2019s dark obsession with voyeur pornography awakens his own morality. Liam Cunningham<\/a> (Game of Thrones)\u00a0<\/i>brings an intensity to this flawed character, adding to a truly gripping and intense short thriller.<\/p>\n Selfie<\/em> tells the story of \u2018Tricia\u2019, a character seen briefly\u00a0in SLR\u00a0<\/em>(played by\u00a0Jasmine Breinburg,<\/a>\u00a0plucked from obscurity to appear in Danny Boyle’s 2012 Olympic opening ceremony<\/a>). \u00a0She becomes\u00a0unwittingly exposed to the unsavoury side of the web\u00a0which ultimately raises\u00a0questions in her own mind.<\/p>\n Both directors are destined for big future success.
