With a nod to the release of British feature film –\u00a0Northern Soul<\/a>, the music vs film night is back at\u00a0The Book Club<\/a>\u00a0in London\u2019s Shoreditch for a night of floor fillers, films and foolery.<\/p>\n

This month we don our Ben Shermans, <\/i>slip on some Trickers\u00a0<\/i>and get down to some serious Northern Soul<\/b>\u00a0tunes, film\u00a0& shape-throwing. There’ll be guest DJs<\/b>, live music<\/b> and films<\/b> charting the history of\u00a0Northern Soul culture, right up to today.<\/p>\n

Mixing up the soul soup with their 45s will be guest DJs Sonny ‘Scully’ Evans <\/b>and <\/b>Dean Chalkley<\/span><\/a>, <\/b>vocal trio <\/b>J.E.T\u00a0<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>playing their own brand of soul, and a host of films, from independent directors to YouTube sensations and everything in between.<\/p>\n
