VIDEO: A Good Bitch (dir. Rhys Edwards)
Brands are always trying to come up with new ways to engage different audiences while still pursuing passion projects. Reed.co.uk, one of the UK’s first and biggest recruitment websites, has been doing just that with the Reed Short Film Competition. It has been going strong now since 2010, with each years entries as original and diverse as the last. The competition theme changes every year and 2015 revolves around ‘The Question’ and we can’t wait to see the great work that’ll be submitted.
This is a great opportunity for anyone with an idea or filmmaker seeking a platform to showcase their talent. The prizes are well worth the entry too, with a Grand Prix winner getting £10,000! The 2014 winning entry was a documentary called ‘A Good Bitch’, a great little piece by Rhys Edwards about a Welsh farming family and their Sheepdogs. We’ve included a few of our favourites below.
The deadline for entry is January 25th 2015 and each video must be no longer than 3 minutes. See past entries and submission rules on the Reed Short Film Competition website.
