There’s a dark secret in the woods.
A teenage game gets out of hand, and now there’s hell to pay.
But who will fit the bill?
As things spiral out of control a modern day morality tale unfolds.

If you’ve not sampled a piece of true independent theatre recently and want to support young talent then it’s your last chance to get yourself down to one of South London’s ever-growing theatrical hubs, The Brockley Jack Studio Theatre (catch the ginger line for Honor Oak Park) to see award-winning director Michael van der Put‘s adaptation of DNA. The play is presented by van der Put’s outfit Broken Hearted Youth and is written by Utopia and Matilda the Musical co-writer Dennis Kelly. First performed by the National Theatre, this haunting modern drama is now an established text on the GCSE syllabus.
Van der Put himself is notable because his short film Callum (shot in and around Honor Oak Park) won multiple awards including the Van d’Or for Best Film in 2013.
This production is preceded by a screening of Callum.
DNA runs until Sat 25th April at 7.45pm

Tickets: £14, £10 concs (suitable for 14+)
